Create, edit and delete an appraisal
Create a new appraisal
Appraisals can be created by a person with HR rights. An appraisal period must be included in an appraisal and appraisal goals or topics can be added if necessary.
- Go to People > Appraisals.
- If new Appraisal period is required:
- Select Periods tab.
- Click New Period.
- Select Name, Start and Finish dates.
- Click Save.
- Create Appraisal topic or goal if needed:
- Select Goals tab.
- Click New Goal.
- Click New Appraisal.
- Select person, Appraisal period and Acceptor.
- Add Next period goals.
- Add other necessary information and click Save as new.
Create a new goal

Add Name, Period, Type and Valid dates.
Note: Select Topic as Type if you want to add a topic for appraisal, otherwise select Goal as Type. If you want to have both in an appraisal, create 2 different Goals.

Add other necessary information and click Save As New.
Edit an appraisal
Appraisals can be edited depending on the current status of the appraisal. Read more about Appraisal workflow and statuses.
- Go to People > Appraisals.
- Edit an appraisal either by:
- Click on the Appraisal period and in the summary page click Edit or
- Click the pencil icon of the appraisal you want to edit.
- After you have done the changes, click Save.
Delete an appraisal
Appraisal can only be deleted when it has the status Preliminary.
- Go to People > Appraisals.
- Click on the checkbox of the appraisal you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
