Create, edit and delete a task

Create a new task

  1. Go to Projects & services > Projects.
  2. Click on the Name of a project.
  3. In the Project space, go to Tasks tab.
  4. Click New Task.
  5. Add Name and Start and Finish dates.
  6. Fill in other necessary information.
    • Select Type as Milestone, if you want this to be a milestone.
    • Select a task to the Parent field, if you want this to be a sub task.
    • Select a task to the Depends on field, if this is dependent on another task.

      Note: If task is dependent on another task, Start date will be automatically set to start after the end of the selected task.

  7. Click Save as new.

Edit a task

  1. Go to Projects & services > Projects.
  2. Click on the Name of a project.
  3. In the Project space, go to Tasks tab.
  4. Edit a task either by:
    • Click on the task and in the summary view click Edit or
    • Click the pencil icon of the task you want to edit.
  5. After you have done the changes, click Save.

Delete a task

  1. Go to Projects & services > Projects.
  2. Click on the Name of a project.
  3. In the Project space, go to Tasks tab.
  4. Click on the checkbox of the task you want to delete and click Delete.
