Create, edit and delete a time report

In time sheet as a default you can see all your active tasks assigned to you for the current week and not which are not yet completed. Completed tasks will show in the time sheet when the finish date has been reached. Tasks will start showing in time sheet on the week start date is created.

Create a new time report

  1. Go to Time & absence > Time sheet.
  2. Select the correct cell in the time sheet.
  3. Add hours to the cell which will be shown in the Reported field in the bottom of the time sheet.
  4. Add a comment for the report.

    Note: Leaving a comment can be optional or mandatory depending on the project and task. The symbol * indicates that a comment is mandatory for this project and task.

  5. Fill other necessary fields and click Save.

Note: If you try to leave the time sheet before you have saved your data, you will be warned about unsaved data and asked to return.

The customers see the comment in the invoice items appendix if you invoice through PlanMill. Project managers can enter a different invoice comment for your time report if needed.

Edit a time report

  1. Go to Time & absence > Time sheet.
  2. Select the correct cell in the time sheet.
  3. Change the amount of hours or comment in the bottom of the sheet.
  4. Click Save.

Note: Editing accepted and locked time reports requires separate access rights. Accepted time reports appear in green color in the time sheet cell.

Delete a time report

  1. Go to Time & absence > Time sheet.
  2. Select the correct cell in the time sheet.
  3. Click the delete icon.
  4. Click Save.
