How to create a new account or update an existing one using Asiakastieto

Asiakastieto is a commercial add-on feature.

Create a new account

  1. Go to Sales & Marketing > Accounts and create a new account.
  2. In the account form, click Search Asiakastieto and select the company from the results shown directly from Asiakastieto’s online database.
  3. The Account form will now show the company´s name, phone number, website, address and business id filled up automatically. Also the line of business information is imported.
  4. Optional: You can change data such as phone numbers or change the type to “customer”.
  5. Click Save As New.
  6. See a summary page and review your created account in PlanMill.

Update an account

  1. Go to Sales & Marketing > Accounts.
  2. Edit an account either by:
    • Click on the account and in the summary page click Edit or
    • Click the pencil icon of the account you want to edit.
  3. In the account form, click Search Asiakastieto and select the company from the results shown.
  4. Click Save.
