Workflow of an expense

Expense supports two different workflows as shown below:

Workflow I (default)

  1. Reported - notification to superior (default) or project manager
  2. Accepted - notification to finance/payroll
  3. Rejected - notification to employee
  4. Paid (Accepted only) - notification to employee and send to accounting*

Workflow II

  1. Reported - no notification if centralized model in use (default)
  2. Inspected - notification to superior
  3. Accepted - notification to finance/payroll
  4. Rejected - notification to employee
  5. Paid (Accepted only) - notification to employee and send to accounting*

Note *Expense integration to accounting required.

Workflow responsibles

  • Inspector: Project manager or centralized to finance/payroll (default)
  • Acceptor: Superior (default) or project manager
  • Payment team: Finance/payroll persons
