How balance hours are calculated

Flexible working hours and balance calculation are based on Working Hours Act, collective labor agreement and possible local agreements.

Balance hours are shown in the Time sheet and Time list if user has the access right to view his/her balance. Overtime and travel time balance are calculated separately.

Factors affecting balance calculation are:

  • Default worktime daily
  • Type of the capacity calendar
  • Hire and possible depart dates
  • Balance start adjustment and balance maximum value
  • Time entries in Time card if balance calculation is based on Time card
  • Reported hours and absences depending on the duty type of the task and type of the absence
