How to create a milestone

A milestone marks an important point or event in projects. Milestones can only be 1 day long and they cannot have performers. Milestones can have dependencies or tasks dependent on a milestone. Revenue items can be related to milestones.

  1. Go to Projects & services > Projects.
  2. Click on the Name of a project.
  3. In the Project space, go to Tasks tab.
  4. Click New Task.
  5. Add Name, set Type as Milestone and add Start date.
  6. Fill in other necessary information.

    • Select a task to the Depends on field, if this is dependent on another task.

      Note: If milestone is dependent on another task, Start date will be automatically set to start after the end of the selected task.

  7. Click Save as new.
